In 1967, a group of visionaries dreamed of an endowment
for the Jewish community in New Orleans
that would:
• Become a repository of funds given by people who shared their vision
of a strong and vibrant Jewish community;
• Attract individuals and families to invest some portion of their life’s
good fortune to ensure the future of generations to come;
• Provide endowed funds to benefit the whole federation family
of agencies and other organizations of Jewish interest.
